Amber Durum Wheat
There are two sides to a wheat seed. On one side you can see the embryo at one end of the seed. On the other side of the seed you will find a crease. These two items can be used to describe seeds. Sometimes wheat seeds can be wrinkly, which may cause you to confuse them with triticale. However, when doing seed identification you should look at more than one seed. Do not look for exceptions in the seed lot. File Name: amberdurumwheat-689crop.JPG
