Rima Thapa
Rima Thapa, (Elbert W. Pogue Memorial Scholarship $400 and Oklahoma Seed Trade Association Scholarship $750) us a freshman from New Baneshwor, Nepal in the Biotechnology option. Rima has also received the Wentz Research Scholarship and will be researching new methods to regenerate bermudagrass in tissue culture. She is an active member of the Agronomy Club and the Crops Judging Team and has been working with Dr. Art Klatt in the wheat breeding program and for Dr. Charles Taliaferro in the bermudagrass program.
